Bay District Schools is looking for dependable, caring individuals to join our team as substitute teachers. Whether you're looking for a flexible schedule, a way to give back to your community, or an opportunity to earn extra income, becoming a substitute is a great way to make a difference in the lives of students.

Qualified substitutes can now work up to five days a week, providing even more opportunities for those who want consistent work. In addition, substitutes who work frequently may qualify for a monthly incentive bonus, earning $100 for working 12 days in a month or $200 for working 17 days.

Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, complete a Level II background check, and finish the free online Beacon Substitute Certification course.
