In her third-grade classroom, Mrs. Lang creates an engaging and dynamic learning environment where students are inspired to explore, question, and discover. Her lessons are filled with hands-on, exciting learning experiences that make academic concepts come alive and foster a genuine love for learning in her students. She skillfully differentiates instruction to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring that every child feels valued and capable of success. Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Lang’s leadership and commitment extend throughout the school. She has taken on the organization of the school science lab, ensuring that students across grade levels have access to meaningful, inquiry-based science experiences. Additionally, she serves as the dedicated K-Kids sponsor, guiding students in leadership, service, and citizenship.
Ms. Ham, our Rookie Teacher of the Year, has an extraordinary ability to connect with students and create a positive, engaging learning environment. She has quickly mastered the art of balancing rigorous instruction with compassion and understanding, making students feel valued and motivated to succeed. Whether it’s through innovative lesson plans, creative classroom management strategies, or one-on-one support, Ms. Ham ensures that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Mrs. Smith, our Support Employee of the Year, goes above and beyond her role each day to meet the unique needs of our English language learners. She provides individualized support, builds trusting relationships with students and families, and serves as a bridge between home and school. Her calm, caring demeanor puts students at ease, and her ability to adapt instruction ensures that every child has equitable access to learning opportunities.
Mrs. Smith's impact extends beyond the classroom. She is a dependable team player who collaborates closely with teachers, attends to students’ emotional and academic needs, and eagerly takes on additional responsibilities whenever needed. Whether assisting with parent communication, interpreting for families, or stepping in to support teachers, Mrs. Smith consistently demonstrates her flexibility, compassion, and dedication to student success.
